This is goose egg time, but where are they?

Springtime is coming and it looks like being a bumper year for daffodils

Again this year a group of daffodils have shown an early hint of Spring by blooming before Christmas

The later light in the morning has enabled us to view beautiful sunrises over Snowdonia from Bodfan's front garden.

Beautiful autumn days have allowed us to have beautiful views from Bodfan's front garden

There are a number of birdfeeders distributed around our grounds. However, where small birds feed frequently, predators take notice.

I have been a bit remiss about keeping this diary updated this year. However, following a wet winter, the warm weather has produced a bonanza of birds feeding at my various feeders.

A few days ago I visited the Bodnant Welsh Food Centre and then the gardens of Bodnant house itself. Both are situated near Llandudno, approximately 45 minutes drive from Bodfan.

The flowers both garden and wild have been spectacular this May, helped by the glorious weather.
